Unlike General Washington's formidable trip in 1776, the event is contingent on favorable weather and conditions.
Make this Christmas a historic and memorable one by visiting Washington Crossing Park. From this point, you can watch the annual reenactment of General George Washington’s daring military move, when he led his troops across the Delaware River on Christmas Night 1776 and turned the course of the American Revolution toward victory.
The reenactment is scheduled for approximately 1 p.m. on Christmas Day and is visible from Washington Crossing Parks on both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey sides of the river.
