The Team
The Philadelphia Soul, partially owned by rock stars Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, is the latest team to, literally, rock the city. The team is a part of the Arena Football League, a winter-spring indoor diversion for football fanatics.
The Soul deliver not only good football (which is mostly in the hands of club President and General Manager, former Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski), but lots of entertainment as well. The Borgata, Atlantic City's newest casino, is sponsoring the dance team, and Bon Jovi himself is often a part of the loud scene at every game.
2008 AFL Champions
In 2008, the Soul captured the Arena Football League Championship behind the arm of quarterback Matt D'Orazio, the steady hands of wide receiver Chris Jackson and an entire team focused on bringing the trophy to Philadelphia.
