This unpretentious Northern Liberties hole-in-the-wall is by far the best venue in the city for local talent. Of course, that term is a bit misleading. Legends such as Jimmy Oliver, Mickey Roker, Sid Simmons and Mike Boone, whose reputations transcend local boundaries, also play here often.
Two other great things about this place: there’s a show here almost every night, and the all-comers jam sessions are some of the best examples of old-school cutting you’ll find in this town.
