Wine Tasting
Every Friday evening from 5:30 until 6:30, sommelier Filiberto Magnati leads guests in an exploration of wines from around the world. The wine tasting makes a perfect cocktail hour activity before sitting down to an incredible meal at Savona.
Insider Tip
If you're really looking to splurge on a sumptuous feast, indulge in the seven-course tasting menu — an experience for the entire table to share.
Located on a historic estate in Gulph Mills, Savona has been called "one of the region's best fine dining experiences" by the Philadelphia Inquirer's esteemed food critic Craig Laban.
The Cuisine
The restaurant captures the culinary spirit of the French countryside and Italian Riviera through the innovative use of seasonal and local ingredients.
The menu changes frequently according to seasonal availability (read guaranteed freshness). But some delectable dishes you may see on the menu are wild burgundy escargots with hearts of palm, plancha-seared branzino and oven-roasted organic squab.
Savona's cooking philosophy is that food should be prepared simply, allowing the freshest and most intriguing ingredients to speak for themselves.
And at Savona, they speak loud and clear.
